I am William de Mandeville - an English Templar invalided out of the Holy Land. My mind was possessed by a demon but I am better now, recovered from this sick and terrible state. But the Order will not allow me to return.  My superiors say I must stay in England and labour on the Templar estates, milking cows and swilling pig sties, to atone for my blasphemies and sins.  But I will return to outremer!  I will fight the Saracen once more.
